This is for pianos that may need extra work, including pitch correction** and various other small modifications, including stuck keys, hammer adjustments, screw tightening, etc. in addition to a standard tuning. *There will be an additional mileage fee for clients more than 10 km downtown.* **Pitch correction (sometimes called pitch raising) is an addition 'rough' tuning before a fine tuning. It is often necessary for pianos that haven't been tuned in a long time. Over time, seasonal shifts in heat and humidity expand and contract the components of the piano, causing the strings to stretch and contract. The effects of these fluctuations accumulate over time, resulting in a piano that is very out of tune. If pitch correction is needed, a technician will discuss it with you prior to tuning.
